Masheed Nears Completion of Amity School & Mosque Project in Qurum
Muscat, Oman – October 2025 : Masheed announced significant progress on the Amity School & Mosque development in Qurum, a major educational and cultural project that is set to serve as a cornerstone for the local community.
The project, awarded on 28 December 2022, consists of a modern school campus and an adjoining mosque designed to accommodate both students and residents in the area. Constructed on a plot area of 19,104 sqm with a total built-up area of over 28,400 sqm, the development showcases Amjaad’s expertise in delivering large-scale, community-focused infrastructure.
With construction works now fully completed, the project has moved into its final stages. Snagging activities, including HVAC and BMS adjustments, are being resolved, and the completion certificate is under review by the client and consultant.
The Amity School offers state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, and multipurpose halls, while the mosque has been designed to reflect traditional Omani heritage with modern amenities. Together, the two facilities provide a space for both learning and worship, reinforcing the social and cultural fabric of Qurum.
The project has a contract value of OMR 8.3 million, with the final retention invoice submitted in August 2025.
