Masheed Successfully Completes Ministry of Housing Project in Sur
Masheed Engineering and Contracting proudly announce the successful completion and delivery of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning project in Sur, marking an important milestone in the company’s contribution to the Sultanate’s public infrastructure development.
Awarded in January 2023 and commenced in February 2023, the project was developed on a plot area of 17,688 sqm with a built-up area of 4,295 sqm.
The facility has been designed to enhance the Ministry’s operational capacity while providing a modern and efficient working environment that supports high standards of public service.
Throughout the construction phase, the project progressed steadily across all major disciplines. Key works included structural construction, electrical and sanitary installations, architectural finishes, external works, and landscaping.
Final installations such as electrical fittings, irrigation systems, marble works, glazing, and internal finishes were completed to ensure the facility meets the required operational and quality standards.
With a contract value of OMR 2.14 million, the project was delivered through strong collaboration between Masheed Engineering and Contracting, the project consultant, and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, ensuring the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and compliance throughout the development process.
