Masheed Advances Construction of College of Law at Sultan Qaboos University
Muscat, Oman – October 2025 : Masheed is proud to announce steady progress on the College of Law project at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), one of the most anticipated academic developments in the Sultanate.
The project, which commenced in June 2025, is being constructed over a plot area of 6.83 million sqm, with a total built-up area of 13,697 sqm. Designed to reflect the university’s academic excellence and Oman’s architectural identity, the new College of Law will provide state-of-the-art facilities that enhance learning, research, and student engagement.
As of August 2025, the project’s mobilization, excavation, and PCC works have been fully completed, marking an important early milestone. Ongoing activities include waterproofing works (45% complete) and reinforcement and shuttering works (40% complete) for the structural footings. With a dedicated workforce of 55 engineers and laborers, progress continues to align closely with the project plan.
The College of Law project, valued at OMR 5.75 million, is progressing on schedule toward its completion target of June 2027 reflecting active collaboration between Masheed, the consultant, and the client to maintain financial and operational momentum.
